6/8/2021 11:25:57 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

RAMBAN, June 8: The Dogra Sahayata Kendra (DSK) is launching efforts to create awareness amongst the people in Ramban District about the SOPs to be followed for prevention of spread of COVID-19 and distribute kits with requisite material comprising different type of masks, sanitizers, soaps and pamphlets. This was disclosed by Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and Chairman, Dogra Sahayata Kendra in a statement issued today after interacting with the members of the Ramban unit along with Trustees of Laxmi Narain Mandir Gandhi Nagar and members of the Coordination Committee of Dogra Sahayata Kendra. Later, Charak handed over the material to Dharam Chand and Shubam, representatives of Ramban Unit of Dogra Sahayata Kendra.
Charak impressed upon the representatives from Ramban that they need to remain in touch with Dogra Sahayata Kendra Jammu for any help or assistance required by any COVID-19 patients who are referred by the health authorities to Govt Medical College, Jammu for specialized treatment, as the Dogra Sahayata Kendra has made arrangements to provide packed food for such patients or their attendants, in as many numbers as may be required by them, besides Ambulance services within the Municipal limits of Jammu.
He also underlined the need to maintain liaison between the health authorities, Panchayati Raj Institutions and members of the public by members of the Ramban unit to help in ensuring that the covid care centers being provided by the Administration at the Panchayat Level are adequately equipped and staffed and the affected persons are able to avail the facilities provided therein, properly.
Amongst others who were present on the occasion included Col Karan Singh, SC Rekhi, Deepak Gupta, Prithvi Raj Vaid, Harsh Malhotra and Ved Verma.
