Jammu, June 8: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Corporator Pritam Singh today kick started blacktopping work at work cost of 10 lakh ward no 55 New Shanti Nagar.
The blacktopping work was inaugurated by Pritam singh in presence of Santnam Singh, Sukh Ram , Gurnaam Singh , Neeraj Sharma, Dharam Chand, Vijay Kumar, Yash Raj, Sanjeev, Sanjay Kumar prominent citizens of Ward-55 and to fulfill the long pending demands of the residents New shanti Nagar
The work being executed by the Public Works department in presence of AEE , JE , contractor and Corporator
Later, Pritam along with AEE and JE also visited Ward-55 and its surrounding localities, met with the locals, who put forth various issues of public importance such as construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes, etc.
He gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine demands be redressed in a time-bound manner.
He further added that development work going on at Hari bihar coloney in ward no 55is already being completed at a 3rd pace with the cooperation of AEE & JE and also due to the support of the people Black topping and renovation of road is in progress so as to prevent any inconvenience to the people of the ward. |
