| Inter-college essay writing competition on "Child labour, a challenge for society" held | | |

Jammu, Jun 12: Government Degree College Dudu Basant Garh organized an online inter-college essay writing competition on the theme "Child Labour-A challenge for society" on the occasion of World Day against child labour.
The competition took place under the supervision and guidance of Principal of the College Dr. Bhavnaish Chand. Principal of the college complimented the organizing secretary Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal who organized this competition with the support of coordinator Prof. Rahul Sharma and gave the chance to the students to participate in this event to highlight the plight of child laborers.
Students from various colleges of Jammu & Kashmir UT participated in the event. In this event Surjeet Kumar of BA Sem-II from GDC Dudu Basantgarh got 1st Position, Poonam Devi and Santosh Kumari both of BA Sem-II from GDC Dudu Basantgarh shared 2nd position, while 3rd position was shared between Palma Devi of Sem-II and Ranjeet Kumar of Sem-IV of host College. E-certificate were given to all the winners. Principal of the College congratulated the winners of the competition. |
