Poonch, June 12: Although government has claimed for providing all basic necessities to the common masses of the nation, but these claims look castle of sand in air as people in remote areas are deprived of all basic necessities like power supply and water facilities. According to the sources from Thapla village of tehsil Mandi, "Power Development Department has installed a transformer in this areas three months before which is not functioning right now". Ironic is that people of the areas are paying terrif bill for three months without power supply.
Although this matter has been put up with concern Executive Engineer and District Development Commissioner Poonch for redressal of the issue, both have not taken stern action into that matter right now, locals further informed. They said, "there children are unable to charge their mobiles due to which they can't get online education during pendamic of COVID 19". They have appealed to Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to intervene into the matter and take appropriate action against concern department. |
