Instead of siding anti-nationals Mehbooba should contribute in nation building: Kavinder
8/10/2021 12:14:16 AM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 9: Former Deputy Chief Minister on Monday slammed PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti for taking side of anti-nationals and asked her to contribute in nation building by becoming part and parcel of mainstream politics.
The BJP stalwart was responding to Mehbooba's statement against NIA raids on JeI in Kashmir as she said that the Government of India has waged a war against J&K.
In a rejoinder, Kavinder said that the narrative which the PDP leader wanted to propel in the Valley has no takers as the development carried out by the PM Narendra Modi led BJP Government in J&K has changed the minds of the people and they are in no mood to act on the behest of 'Pakistani stooges' anymore.
The senior BJP leader said that Tricolour has replaced the black flags in Kashmir and no power on earth can now reverse the situation and the attempt by Mehbooba to sway people against the country will never succeed. He said that the PM Modi led government is treading fast and steady towards making J&K the leading region of the country and Mehbooba and her ilk are trying hard to revert to the position where death and destruction used to rein the Valley and youths have nowhere to go to have a good fortune.
Kavinder said that the time of anti-nationals has gone and the action of NIA against them is totally justified as the government will not allow anyone to indulge in terror or violence just to satiate the desire of breaking the country or spreading unrest. He said that people in the Valley have no time to listen to such anti-national rants as they are busy reaping the benefits of centrally sponsored schemes which guarantee good fortune and best careers for their children and life full of convenience.
The former deputy Chief Minister advised Mehbooba to stop daydreaming and taking sides with separatists and anti-nationals as the road in front for them and their supporters is perilous and can land all in jails with no provision of bails. "It will be good for her to work as a true Indian leader by contributing plenty of time and resources for the people of the Valley and stop instigating them to act against the interests of the country.
