| Langar endorses LG’s stance of no mercy for terrorists, their supporters | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 9: Convener Trade and Industries Cell, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sham Lal Langar has appreciated Lt Governor Manoj Sinha for coming out with a crystal clear stand in absolutely unambiguous words that there will be no mercy for terrorists as well as their supporters. In a statement issued to media here today, the Langar said that Bharatiya Janata Party and the people of this Union Territory fully endorse the statement of the LG in his address at Kulgam the other day.
Langar said that terrorists are the worst violators of human rights as is evident from their barbaric killings not only in Jammu and Kashmir but across the globe and as such they deserve no mercy at all. He said that such a clear and hard stance should have been taken much earlier in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir by the successive governments. Unfortunately the governments at the Centre prior to the NDA Govt had adopted appeasement policy and made ambiguous statements to keep their vote banks in good books, he added.
The BJP leader said that no terrorist can succeed in implementing the mayhem and killing plans without support of some anti-national elements at the local level and as such the terrorists and their supporters should be treated on the same lines sans any mercy or leniency. Sham Langar said the Union Govt led by Narendra Modi is already determined to wipe out terrorism after having reiterated its zero tolerance policy against terrorism and continues to giving befitting reply to the enemies outside as well as within the country.
He appealed to the Lt Governor to pace up the campaign of identifying the supporters of terrorists still working in the government departments and not only dismiss them from government service but also inflict stern punishments to them. |
