Udhampur, Aug 22: Despite tall claims of the authorities, Govt Primary School Gadkeh Morcha at Zone Jib here is without tap water facility.
It is pertinent to mention here that concerned authorities everyday issue statements about government schools and Anganwari Centres in J&K being provided with the pure drinking water but the ground situation contradicts their claims.
On visit to Govt Primary School Morcha, this reporter found no water connection at the school which has turned the washrooms useless.
“This is a big hindrance in education especially of girls,” said, a local Des Raj
The school at present is shut due to COVID pandemic but it may open soon after which the students may face all sorts of problems due to absence of water supply. |
