JAMMU, Aug 28: Under the ongoing plantation drive, saplings of various types were planted in the premises of Govt. MS Rattian by Director School Education Jammu Ravi Shanker Sharma.
Chief Education Officer Jammu Suraj Singh Rathore was present on the occasion. This initiative is taken by Distt. Nodal Officer plantation driveSh. Narinder Singh Chin, S. Ravinder Singh, Darshan Sharma and Ajay Kumar members of the plantation drive committee Distt. Jammu.
Director School Education Jammu and other Officials present on the occasion highlighted the importance of plantation drive to keep the environment green and pollution free and appealed all to plant the trees to protect the environment. He lauded the role of plantation drive in the interest of society and advised to take pledge for continuous plantation in coming session also.
Mussarat Jabeen (Principal GGHSS Miran Sahib), Swarna Devi thanked officers and officials for their guidance and good will gesture shown on the pious occasion and reassured the continuous efforts in ongoing plantation drive.
