Babus more powerful than Sangh Parivar
After Opposition parties, now offshoots of Sangh Parivar bear brunt of bureaucratic oligarchy
8/28/2021 11:23:23 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 28: Alleged “unprovoked and brutal” lathicharge on the activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) including some female on two successive days at Ramban is a clear indication that influential “bureaucratic oligarchy” is more powerful than the Sangh Parivar.
ABVP- the student wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has always been in the forefront to highlight issues related to the student community in J&K.
The way cops have treated ABVP activists at Ramban is a clear indication that the arrogant bureaucracy in J&K is not accountable to any organizations. After the gagging voice of opposition parties with one other pretext, the power bureaucracy has now decided to suppress nationalist forces. Oppressive means adopted to suppress the agitation of ABVP is a clear indication of bureaucracy’s agenda in J&K.
Activists of ABVP were protesting in Ramban for the past three days against the setting up of an oxygen plant on the school land.
Senior ABVP leaders claimed that over 10 activists were detained on Thursday night and a case has been registered against three members of the ABVP. They alleged that police had beaten students, who were protesting peacefully.
On Friday, ABVP activists were cane-charged in Ramban when they were protesting alleged police brutality.
Shockingly female activists of ABVP were lathi-charged even though they were protesting peacefully.
For years together, activists of ABVP were facing the wrath of authorities in J&K due to the rule of Kashmir-centric parties. But Friday’s episode has authenticated that those at the helm of the affairs are treating themselves all-powerful.
Credible sources in the corridors of power said that arrogant bureaucrats in J&K have given clear directions to the officers not to take any organisation seriously.
After demonizing all opposition parties, the all-powerful bureaucracy of UT is now going to treat various off shoots of Sangh Parivar.
