AISF demands re-constitution of youth clubs
8/28/2021 10:58:08 PM
Early Times Report
DODA, Aug 28: All India Students' Federation (AISF) District Council Doda today demanded to re-constitute the 'Youth Clubs' across the district as the newly constituted clubs are not formed with public consent and without following proper guidelines. The self styled PRIs, GRS and VLWs are running Panchayats in their own way without considering Public's opinion.
The statement alleged that number of Panchayats even did not included women which is mandatory for the formation of Club and even at many places the members of the Club are not highest qualified in the Panchayat and are lacking in computer awareness. The Panchayati Raj Institutions were formed for the welfare of general masses but it seems that in District Doda only the welfare of PRIs and their relatives is happening.
They also attacked the slogan of "Sabka Sath and Sabka Vikas" because it seems that the general masses are very far from "Vikas". They demanded that DC Doda whose name is also Vikas will address their genuine demand and will order for reconstitution of Youth clubs in entire District.
The Federation through the statement demanded from the administration to aware masses cum Youngsters about the purpose of formation of these Clubs. The Council also said that the Scheme of forming Youth Club at Panchayat level is a game changer step but in ground these clubs are only on papers.
AISF has started mobilization of Youths throughout District Doda in particular and all over the state in general. Leaders said that a unanimous resolution was passed in today's meeting with the slogan "Reconstitute Youth Clubs". Meanwhile District Council Doda has requested it's UTs body to pass this resolution at state level so that Youth will attain justice.
