| SBSSA distributes sports shoes to hockey players | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 29: Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Academy (SBSSA) the sports wing of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat singh Foundation (Regd) organized a function at play field Old Satwari, Jammu to mark the occasion of National Sports Day.
After paying the floral tributes to Major Dhyan Chand Singh , Speaking on the occasion Dr. Taran Singh President of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat singh Foundation (regd) said that Major Dhyan Chand Singh worked hard to bring glory to India despite facing lack of basic facilities. He asked the players to aim for the goal with determination, dedication and passion to achieve it.
A hockey match was played on the occasion and promising hockey players was given hockey sports shoes to encourage them to dedicate them for the game and make our nation proud like Major Dhyan chand singh. Players also make paintings to commemorate the National sports day. Participating players paid floral tributes to Major Dhyan Chand singh under the coach Sh. Angat Singh. Dr. taran Singh. |
