Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 29: To enjoy absolute power without transparency and accountability, some babus are indulging in ‘dirty politics’ by sharing some official documents to selective persons to project local BJP leaders as ‘corrupt and inefficient’.
Highly placed sources said that corridors of power said that a coterie of Babus, which has taken total control of the J&K administration is working overtime to demonize local BJP leaders with a design to enjoy the power without any ‘check and balance’.
“This coterie of bureaucrats is very much aware that only local BJP leaders can check their misdeeds due to their relations with central leadership, so this group is working to demonize the whole leadership of Saffron party”, sources said and revealed that recent so-called exposures against some BJP leaders were gameplan of this coterie.
Sources said that a group of Babus i
Babus circulate fake stories against ABVP
Instead of taking action against police officers who were involved in committing atrocities and brutalities on ABVP activists including female workers, this coterie of babus has circulated fake stories to give an impression that nationalist student organization is against installing oxygen plant.
State Secretary ABVP J&K Mukesh Manhas said, “It is unfortunate that the people are being misled that ABVP is against the installation of the oxygen plant in Ramban”. He expressed his anger over ignoring the brutality of Jammu Kashmir Police who have suppressed the dissent ABVP demands.
indulged in nepotism and misdeeds by misusing their official positions. “A couple of BJP leaders raised the issue of ongoing nepotism and corruption in the administration”, sources said and added that it was only exposure of some cases of nepotism that some bureaucrats have started a campaign against local BJP leaders.
Keeping in view the growing anger among people due to the non-availability of basic amenities like power in Jammu province, some BJP leaders raised the issue of the helpless masses to get some problems solved. “Instead of solving basic issues raised by BJP leaders, this coterie of Babus is rather working to tag these leaders as corrupt and inefficient to give the wrong impression to the central leadership that local BJP leaders are dishonest”, sources said and added that just to degrade local BJP leaders these Babus never bothered to respond to their phone calls.
