| Sikh organizations hold meeting on Afghanistan situation | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 29: An emergency meeting of various Sikh Organizations J&K held under the chairmanship of S Sudarshan Singh Wazir Chairman Jammu Kashmir Sikh United Front, In the meeting Sikh organizations participated to discuss the present situation in Afghanistan and role of Indian government.
The JK Sikh United front thanks the Indian government for its efforts to bring three swaroopa of Guru' Granth Sahib from Kabul which are received by Union Minister Sh Hardeep Singh Puri and Sh RP Singh at New Delhi kept at Delhi Gurdwara keeping the sanctity of swaroopa of Guru Granth Sahib, it is also appealed to the Indian government to make efforts to ensure the safety and protection of the worship places in Afghanistan.
The Sikh United front appealed the Indian government to make efforts to ensure the security of lives and properties in Afghanistan of evacuated peoples.
