Balidan Diwas celebrated at Kaloen

Jammu, Sept 5: 23rd Balidan Diwas of Shaheed Ramesh Lal was observed today at village Kaloen (Suchetgarh). Ramesh Lal of 8th Dogra Regiment had attained martyrdom on 5th of September 1998 in Poonch sector. R S Chib, VSM (Retd.) Former Minister & Senior Congress Leader and Chairman of the Memorial Committee, while paying his rich tributes to Shaheed Ramesh Lal, said that the nation is proud of security forces for defending our borders very effectively and crushing the ugly held of PAK sponsored militancy in the JK.
Chib made a special reference to the Border Security Force(BSF), deployed along the IB and said that the Border Residents (farmers) are fully satisfied and happy with the working of the BSF officers and Jawans. T S BAJWA, Former M P (R S) also spoke on this occasion and said that, we are proud of SHAHEED RAMESH LAL and asked the youth to take inspiration from his sacrifice and come forward and join the Defence Forces to serve the country. Many Prominent civil society members also spoke on this occasion and paid tributes to the Martyr’s.
