| Union Ministers visiting Kashmir only, don't label it as J&K visit: CF | | |

JAMMU, Sept 20: Citizens' Forum (CF) has requested LG Manoj Sinha to take up the issue of visiting Union Ministers to J&K UT.
In a press statement issued here today, CF President R K Chadha, Senior Vice President Daman Bhasin, former MP Trilok Singh Bajwa and former MLC Ved Mahajan said that if the Union Ministers have to visit Kashmir region only and not Jammu, then PMO should announce their schedule of visit named as Ministers or other delegates visiting Kashmir only on such and such dates and not Jammu and Kashmir.
What is wrong in announcing that Ministers and delegates are scheduled to visit Kashmir only? This will be considered as a programme only for Kashmir region and there will be no ill will or hard feeling. Visiting Kashmir only and calling it a programme for Jammu & Kashmir suits some sycophant but not people of Jammu region, they added. |
