JKTJAC deputation calls on DSEJ, raises issues of teachers

Jammu, Sept 29: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) led by UT President Vinod Sharma today on called on Director School Education Jammu Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma in his office chamber.
During interaction Vinod Sharma raised the burning issues of the teachers which include:
Regularisation of ReTs who have satisfactorily completed 5 years ReT period and are waiting for the same for a long time and suffering badly due to non release of their regularisation salary;
Fixation of divisional level committee meeting for the conversion of already regularised ReTs to Teachers Grade II/III ; Fast track consideration of mutual transfer cases of RRETs;
Grant of enrollment permission/post facto permission in favour of teachers who have joined courses post 01.01.2021 till date as recent order issued by administrative department doesn’t include such cases ;
Allocation of posts for teachers Grade II/III as per Government order;
Grant of permission for release of more than two years salary and other arrears of teachers ;
Resolution of time bound cases of teachers in some districts;
Issuance of circular as per past practice for confirmation of services of teachers who have completed 2 years of regular service; and Provision of earn leave in favour of teachers deployed on COVID duty during summer/winter vacations.
