| GDC Dudu BasantGarh organizes essay writing competition | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 29: Government Degree College Dudu BasantGarh Organized an Inter -College Essay writing competition on the topic "Quit India Movement" in connection with Ganhi Jayanti Celebrations under "Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov" Students of various Colleges participated in the event and described that Quit India Movement was carried out in a non violent way at widest scale across the country. It was the most powerful mass movement in the series of agiations led by Gandhi ji. The Competition took place under the supervision and guidance of Worthy Principal of the College Dr. Bhavnaish Chand.
Speaking on the Occasion, Principal of the College said that Quit India movement made the people of India united to fight against the cause, as large no. of people came together, formed groups, even being beaten and imprisoned together. Students should know the value of being united as the strength of being together is enough to stand against the toughest situations. Organizing secretary Prof. Rahul Sharma and coordinator Prof. Pradeep Kumar host the event to promote online activities during covid-19 pandemic situation. In this competition Raksha Devi of B.A sem. Ist of host college got 1st position while Muskan Sharma of B.A Sem. 4th of GDC Nagrota and Palma Devi of B.A sem. 2nd of GDC Dudu Basantgarh clinched 2nd and 3rd position respectively. |
