| DIPR Cultural Wing Jammu organises Inter School Drawing, Painting competition on “The Gandhi” | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 1: The Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations Jammu today organised an Inter School Drawing and Painting competition on the topic “The Gandhi” here today.
Over 50 students drawn from 10 Schools of the District participated in the Junior and senior painting competition. The competition was judged by Suresh Kumar, Anuradha Sharma and Swati Gupta.
In senior category, the first prize was won by Chetan of Bright Career High School, Garhi, Second prize won by Nitya Singh of Army Public School and third prize won by Kavya Mahajan of Brhamrishi Bawra Shanti Vidya Peeth, besides, consolation prizes were given to Aditya Singh of Shemmount International School and Sanjana of Bright Career High School, Garhi.
In Junior category, first prize was won by Shraddha Sharma of Brhamrishi Bawra Shanti Vidya Peeth, second prize was won by Manvi Sharma of National Academy High School and third prize went to Navpreet Bhagat of Shemmount International School. Prapti Sharma of Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Udhampur and Vaidehi of Brhamrishi Bawra Shanti Vidya Peeth, won consolation prizes in the competition.
The programme was organised to celebrate 152nd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi ‘Father of Nation’. During the program, Covid - 19 guidelines were also followed by the participants in letter and spirit.
The entire program was conducted under the supervision of Senior Culture Assistant, Suresh Kumar of Culture wing of DIPR Jammu. |
