10/1/2021 11:52:17 PM

Early Times Report

UDHAMPUR, Oct 1: Two courses culminated today at S.K. Police Academy Udhampur. Forty six police officers of the rank ASI to DySP from all over J&K attended the training programmes. A valediction function was organized in the Academy. Mohan Lal, Dy Director (Indoor) SKPA was the chief guest on the occasion. Mohan reiterated that participating officers have spent a number of years in the police service and have a lot of experience regarding management and policing. Now being the supervisory officers they have to perform completely a new role in both. The present scenario is becoming more and more challenging for the police especially to perform the duties as supervisory officer because the job of the supervisory officer is to be all-rounder as he has to deal with many odd situations. The SSP laid emphasis on the dire need of proper investigation of cases related to safety of women and to ensure time bound conviction of the criminals. The specialized and experienced guest faculty was arranged from different arenas.
