| ‘Big Plastic Surgery’ campaign by JMC & 92.7 BIG FM concludes | | |

JAMMU, Oct 1: Three day long ‘Big Plastic Surgery’ campaign by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and 92.7 BIG FM for mass awareness on the ill effects of plastic culminated here today at Wave Mall Jammu. JMC and BIG FM have done great work to make this campaign reach to every nook and corner of the city in which they received overwhelming support from the Jammuities.
The main objective of this campaign was to motivate people for waste segregation, reduce and gradually refuse the use of single use plastic. Many eminent dignitaries along with localities came to witness the effort made by 92.7 BIG FM with the help of Jammu Municipal Corporation. Prominent among those who stood tall with JMC and BIG FM for this campaign include Mukesh Singh, ADGP Jammu, Avny Lavassa (Commissioner JMC), Pankaj Magotra (VC JDA) and others.
The campaign ‘Big Plastic Surgery) was inaugurated by Commissioner JMC who also heard the public grievances at Wave Mall. Apart from this large number of people thronged at Wave Mall for the campaign along with the number of dignitaries who paid a visit to support the cause and took pledge to participate in the survey for a better Jammu. RJ Juhie from 92.7 Big FM informed that this is the second season of the campaign ‘Big Plastic Surgery’ and Big FM is proud to have partnered with JMC for this noble cause. She uses her large fan base on radio and her social media platforms to raise awareness on the issue and also make Jammu people take a pledge for litter-free Jammu through her online petition. |
