Judicial institutions organise parbhat pharies; legal awareness camps to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti

JAMMU, Oct 2: Judicial institutions across Jammu division organised Prabhat Pharies and legal awareness outreach camps to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahaotsave.
DLSA Rajouri: District Legal Services Authority Rajouri in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra organised District Level Plogging Run under Clean India campaign and as part of Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from District Court Complex to Tariq Bridge Rajouri this formally launching Clean India Program in the District.
The run was flagged off by Madan Lal Bhagat, Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman DLSA Rajouri. Among others present in the program were Surinder Thapa, Secretary DLSA Rajouri, Nitin Hangloo DYO NYK Rajouri, Vikrant Sharma National Youth Awardee and State Level Resource Person NYKS J&K.
Scores of youth from different corners of the District participated and carried out Cleanliness Drive amid chanting of the slogans of Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat. The youth wearing hand gloves collected waste including single-use plastic waste in biodegradable polybags.
Paying tributes to Bapu Ji, Principal District Sessions Judge said that Cleanliness was the message of the life of Mahatma Gandhi and ‘we must adopt Cleanliness and Swachhta as part of our daily lives and this will be a true tribute to the Father of the Nation.’ He thanked the Nehru Yuva Kendra Team for organising the program and expressed hope that such events would be carried out in the future also.
DLSA Reasi: In Compliance with the directions of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and under the leadership of Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Executive Chairman Legal Services Authority UT of J&K and also under the supervision and guidance of R.N. Watal Chairman District Legal Services Authority Reasi, District Legal Services Authority Reasi today launched PAN India Awareness and Outreach Campaign by organizing Prabhat Pheri in District Head Quarter Reasi with the assistance of Panel Lawyers and PLVs of District Reasi and also in collaboration with Incharge District Nodal Officer, Cultural Cell, Reasi and Faculty Members and Students of Govt. High Sec. School (Boys) Reasi.
This Prabhat Pheri was started from District Head Quarter Reasi after paying floral tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi on his Birth Anniversary and it culminated near the Ganesh Temple Main Bazar, Reasi.
DLSA Reasi also organized another Legal Awareness Program at Government Middle School Gran, Reasi under PAN India Awareness and Outreach Campaign.
TLSC Bishnah on the directions of District legal services Authority Jammu, Chairman Tehsil legal services committee Bishnah, Ananta Raina on the Eve of Azadi ka Amrut Mahautsav and Birthday Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi ji, launched PAN India awareness and outreach programme campaign. A cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was held in collaboration with Municipal committee at court complex Bishnah.
A Parbhat Pheri was conducted across Tehsil Bishnah by displaying Placards on various legal services schemes. The programme was attended by the members of the Bar Association Bishnah, panel lawyers, the children of adjoining villages, Para legal volunteers and staff of TLSC Bishnah.
