| Naib sarpanch ‘looting’ people, allege Sunderbani residents | | |

SUNDERBANI, Oct 2: A naib sarpanch of one of the Panchayat in Teshil Sunderbani, District Rajouri is allegedly looting people.
Locals while talking to Early Times alleged that they have valid proof and video clips in which the naib sarpanch is seen indulging in corrupt acts.
They further alleged that naib sarpanch in a recent case demanded and received a graft of a few thousand from a local man from Sunderbani to prepare documents in connection with the house.
Locals said that the issue was brought into the notice of ACD Rajouri with video clips who assured them that the matter would be investigated. “But till date nothing has been done,” they said.
The naib sarpanch also threatened the media person for highlighting the issue. “A reporter also has filed an RTI on the works done by the naib sarpanch,” locals said.
They urged the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to issue suitable directions to the concerned authorities for conducting proper investigation into the alleged corrupt practices of the naib sarpanch. |
