RAMBAN, Oct 16: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today convened a meeting of district officers and religious leaders to finalize the arrangements for the celebration of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W).
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dherinder Sharma, Tehsildar Ramban and other concerned officers besides various Mufti and Imams of various Masjids besides representatives of Muslim community attended the meeting whereas SDMs of Banihal, Ramsoo and Gool, Executive Engineer JPDCL and Tehsildars attended the meeting through the virtual mode.
The DC directed the SDMs and Tehsildars to ensure all adequate arrangements in their respective jurisdictions regarding Eid celebration by implementing Covid protocols. The Deputy Commissioner urged the religious leaders to ensure compliance of Covid-19 SOPs by devotees participating in Eid congregations in their respective areas. |
