Sainik Football Club –A, Star FC enter Finals of Auricrown 7-Aside Football Champions Cup 2021

Jammu, Oct 16: SFC-A (Sainik Football Club - A) and Star Football Club stormed into the finals on the penultimate day of the Auricrown 7-Aside Football Champions Cup, 2021 here today as each of them defeated Shaheen Football Club and Avengers Football Club by One goal to Nil respectively in the two exciting Semi-finals of the seven day long tournament being played from 11th to 17th October, 2021 at Sainik Football Ground, Sainik Colony Jammu.
Some excellent moves in passing the ball and strong foot-work by Karun of the SFC-A and Parth of Star FC earned for them the title of Men of the Matches respectively. Shaheen FC’s No. 14 along with No. 4 showed some fantastic moves, but Shaheen FC under its Captain Khushal was unable to capitalize.
Likewise, Avengers FC under their Captain Rajan had most of the possession, but Star FC proved more lethal in front of the goal. It was ultimately the Captaincy by Ishan Verma of SFC-A and Upender Singh of Star FC and the coordinated team work and some good goalkeeping by respective sides which carried the day in favour of the winners.
Earlier, Quarter Finals of the Auricrown Football Champions Cup tournament were played on Friday, the 15th of October, 2021, in which Shaheen Football Club (FC), Star FC and Sainik FC (A) had defeated Daredevil FC, Allianz FC, and Param Risers FC respectively, each by one goal to nil to enter Semi-Finals of the tournament.
In the fourth quarter final match, Avengers FC had defeated National FC by a wider margin of three goals to one.
Kallis, Parth, Dushant and Pradeep were declared Men of the respective Quarter Final Matches.
Football lovers may find the finals to be played on 17th October (Sunday) at 04-30 p.m. between Shaheen Football Club (FC), Star FC, Sainik FC (A) and Avengers Football Club, most enthralling and worth seeing.
