| Cleanliness drive held in across Ramban Blocks | | |

RAMBAN, Oct 16: Continuing the “Clean India” Programme Ramban Administration intensified Sanitation drive across the district under the month long cleanliness and sanitation initiative launched by the Government to promote ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ slogan.
On the occasion, officers and officials of the Rural Development Department along with PRIs participated in cleanliness and sanitation drives in their respective areas. The participants reiterated the commitment to continue sanitation drives in future apart from taking part in ongoing ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ drive. Similar drive was also conducted by the Youth Services and Sports department Ramban at Educational Zone Khari. Officers and officials of the department participated in the cleanliness drive and took out an awareness rally which passed through the Khari market.
The participants collected the single-use plastic bags & other waste material during the drive and sensitised the shopkeepers and vendors about the harmful effects of single-use plastic. |
