26 bovine animals rescued, two smugglers arrested by Udhampur police | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Oct 31: Udhampur police rescued 26 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers. As per police sources, on specific information, a team from PP Tikri laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AQ-3147. During checking, police team rescued 26 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two smugglers, who have been identified as Farooq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Nazir R/o Kullian, Miran Sahib and Shahbhaz, son of Mohammad Shafi R/o Belicharana, Jammu. Cases under relevant sections of law were registered at Rehambal police station and further investigation is on. Police team led by PP Tikri led by Insp. Nishant Gupta SHO PS Rehambal and assisted by Insp. Jaswinder Singh IC PP Tikri under the supervision of Anwaar-ul-Haq Addl. SP Udhampur and Sahil Mahajan DySP Hqrs. Udhampur. |
