A NIA statement said, two more persons identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Wani from Srinagar and Umar Bhat of Sopore in north Kashmir were arrested in different raids conducted during the past 24 hours.
He said both have been booked under the conspiracy for carrying out violent terrorist acts in Jammu and Kashmir and other major cities at the behest of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Hizb-Ul-Mujahideen, Al Badr and their affiliates, the Resistance Front (TRF) and People Against Fascists Forces (PAFF).
The NIA statement said that preliminary investigation has revealed that arrested accused persons are terror associates and Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of various terrorist organisations and have been providing logistical and material support to them.
