Labour card will help workers to access social security benefits: Sat | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 31: With the motive to provide benefits of central government schemes to needy people, former Minister and ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) distributed Labour cards to inhabitants of Ward 32, 40 and 41 at a programme held at Saini Mohalla area of Talab Tillo. On spot registration camp for new registrations was also held on the spot to provide assistance to people. Sharma was also accompanied by District General Secretary Karan Sharma, District Secretary Satyabhushan Dubey, Mandal Vice President Rajesh Saini and several others including local residents and political activists of the area. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that people hailing from various wards who are working as an unorganized labour have been helped with the registration of the Labour cards and many were provided with the cards for which the people have appreciated the pro public policies of Narendra Modi led Central Government. He said such a scheme of the Modi Government will help the labour sect in many ways and will overcome many of their problems. He stated that such camps are being held in various areas of Jammu West which are being organized by the activists of the party and he appealed to the masses eligible for the registration of the Labour card to get themselves registered under the scheme. Sharma also stated that ID card for unorganised sector workers will help them access social security benefits across the country Abhishek Sharma, Raj Singh Saini, Vikram Saini and several others were also present. |
