| Dy Mayor distributes blankets among Safai Karamcharis | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 31: Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma and Chairman Subhadra Foundation Ritika Trehan distributed blankets among the Safai Karamcharis at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The blankets were distributed as a Diwali gift to encourage Safai Karamcharis for their effortless and consistent service during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking on the occasion Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma said that she congratulates everyone on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's jayanti and remembers his teaching of unbreakable and one India. Even our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ,who is the ideal of the people of all categories and caste, urges to work together for the development of the nation.
She further said that today along with the Chairman Subhadara Foundation Ritika Tarhan, we are distributing blankets to Safai Karamcharis who are corona warriors as they worked continuously during the pandemic and lockdowns to provide everyone with safety and hygienic environment. Sharma further added that she is thankful to Ritika Trehan for her initiative that will boost the morale of Safai Karamcharis and encourage them to work even more efficiently.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Ritika Trehan said that during the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns when everyone was staying at home to stay safe from the Covid-19 virus, the Safai Karamcharis provided their services continuously to every citizen in order to provide them with a healthy and hygienic environment. |
