Sham Sharma lauds Mahant Rohit Shastri for highlighting rich Indian culture | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 31: A book titled 'Nagdevatas Ki Mahima' written by Mahant Rohit Shastri, President Vedic Sanasthan Trust, was released in Purkho, Raipur Domana Constituency. The intellectuals who did excellent work in the society were honored. The programme started with lighting of lamp amidst chanting of Vedic hymens by Sanskrit scholars. Shastri while throwing a brief light on the book said that Nags have been described as an integral friend of mankind through thousands of examples in our scriptures. Science even says that more than 80 percent of snakes do not contain venom. Therefore, there is a great need today to save nature and this integral friend of ours. Through this book, many misconceptions related to the deities of the mind will be removed. In the future, this small book will also play an unprecedented role in the protection of snakes, with the same hope. Former Minister and State Vice President BJP Sham Lal Sharma said that the state of Jammu & Kashmir is the land of Vasuki and Ashtakuli serpents and there are temples of Nagdevtas at many places. He said that Shastri did a great job by highlighting Devvani Sanskrit language and Indian culture to the people and he is playing vital role in the up-liftment of the society. |
