| National Legal Services Day celebrated at Bhaderwah | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Nov 9: National Legal Services Day was celebrated in the District Court Complex under the Chairmanship of Virender Singh Bahu, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District and Sessions Judge, Bhaderwah).
Sub Judge, Sumati Sharma, Munsif Judge Bhaderwah and large number of people also participated. The participants were apprised about the importance of the day and the legal aid schemes launched by the NALSA/SLSA being implemented by DLSA Bhaderwah at the district and tehsil level.
On the occasion, Advocate Majid Malik deliberated upon role of police in disseminating legal education among masses. He briefed the gathering about the different social provision of Legal Services Act and allied schemes and rules made from time to time for betterment of people. Mudasar Farooq concluded the programme by apprising the gathering about the importance of Legal Services Day and about the schemes being offered under Legal Service Act.
