JAMMU, Nov 27: VJ Dancing Academy organized a Dogri folk dance competition at K L Sehgal Hall where many students took part in it. Sandhya Gupta, founder and chairperson of Maharaja Hari Singh Dogra Samman, was the chief guest while as Sapna Soni famous actress, producer and director was guest of honor.
The judgment of this dance competition was done by Pratiksha Sharma, Choreographer, and National Dogri Folk Dancer/Performer. The students enthusiastically participated in the Dogri folk dance competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. Different Dogri songs of folk artists of Jammu were presented at the competition.
Sandhya said that Jammu is full of talent, and more and more dance competitions, singing competition should be organized in the Jammu region to promote the folk, culture and tradition. Sapna said that such cultural events and dance competitions encourage talented students to show case their talent.
