Jammu, Nov 27: Growing popularity of senior BJP leader and party’s organization secretary Ashok Koul has unnerved his opponents.
A morphed video in which editing is clearly visible Ashok Koul is heard saying, “three terrorists were martyred and Mehbooba ji is trying to give it a colour.”
“This video has been making rounds on social media and opponents of Koul are trying to ensure that it gets circulated so that they can put a sincere party leader in an awkward situation,” said a BJP worker.
He said, “Koul is a foot soldier of BJP and has worked sincerely for the party. He always remains available for the grass root workers and makes every effort to resolve their problems.”
Another BJP activist said, “The video that has gone viral is a handiwork of his opponents who are unable to digest Koul’s popularity and his clout within and outside the party.”
He said, “Koul has been instrumental in making BJP strong in Jammu and Kashmir.
He has tried his best to reach out to every corner of J&K with the message of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and party’s agenda. He has led from the front. Making videos viral won’t help the cause of his opponents.” |
