JKAACL organises Exhibition of art works

POONCH, Nov 27: As a part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) Rajouri-Poonch today organised an Exhibition of the art works created at weeklong painting workshop, here at Christ School.
The painting workshop was organised for the winners of the on Spot Painting Competition held earlier at Government Higher Secondary School Boys Poonch.
In all, 36 Young budding artists are attending the workshop with great enthusiasm
The workshop is being held under the guidance of Secretary JKAACL, Rahul Panday and supervised by Additional Secretary JKAACL, Sanjeev Rana.
The event was held with the support of district administration Poonch, Chief Education officer and Principal Christ School.
Special Officer for cultural activities, (SOCA) Rajouri/Poonch Dr Alamdar Adam thanked all those who contributed in making the event successful. He encouraged budding artists who prepared their painting on Canvas and Drawing sheets.
The dignitaries appreciated the art works created by students and advised them to continue their journey of creativity side by side study besides creative works.
State Award Winner, Tariq Mehmood Saifi has been engaged as an expert for the training of the young artists during the week-long workshop.
