KALAKOTE, Nov 27: A Jan Jagran Abhiyan Padyatra and protest concluded at Moghla Bridge by handing over a memorandum to local Magistrate Sunil Sharma in the name of The President of India by BCC President Kewal Krishan Sarpanch in presence of former legislator and AICC Vichar Vibhag, Coordinator Ashok Sharma, Vijay Sharma BCC President Dharmsal, Tehsil Chairman and President Taryath Ashok Bajal and Vinod Sharma, WP BCC Kalakote Darbari Lal Corporator, Sarpench Mougla Kasturi Lal Dutta, Dr Dig Paul GS DCC, Zonal President Bodh Ra,j BYC President Joginder Kumar, Joginder Kumar Dutta Naib Sarpench, Ram Lal Dutta, Halqa President Hem Raj Dutta Mohd Shafi, Dev Raj, BR Dutta, Prem Dass, Ashok Kumar, Surinder Kumar, doctor Ab Majid,, Mohd Razak, Capt Sandoor Singh, Sub Uttam Singh, Mohd Mukhtar, Chain Lal, Baldev Raj, Dharmpaul, Inderjeet and Baldev Sharma.
The issues raised during protest were rising prices of fuel, cooking gas, pulses, essential commodities, economic crises, unemployment, insecurity restoration of Statehood to J&K. The local demands for posting HSS Principal and Staff, BDO, Naib Tehsildar and dental doctor, argumentation of PHE schemes, power facilities of cheaper rates, repair and renovations of existing roads construction of new roads and bridges.
