CEO Ramban leads enrollment drive in Banihal

BANIHAL, Nov 27: Chief Education Officer Ramban Vinod Kumar Koul today visited Tatnihal area of education Zone Banihal in district Ramban and led the ongoing enrollment drive cum campaign. The enrollment campaign has been launched in JKUT under the direction of Commissioner Secretary Education, BK Singh and Director School Education Jammu Dr. Ravi Kumar Shankar.
The program was organised by zonal education officer Banihal with the cooperation of Zonal Planning Education Officer, Reyaz Ahmed Wani and cluster head Attullah Giri in the area.
While speaking on the occasion, the CEO highlighted the importance of education and enrollment drive. He urged parents and locals to admit their wards in government schools and avail benefits of free uniform, free books, mid day meal and scholarship and quality education imparted by highly educated teachers. He assured the locals that the problems being faced by the students in the area will be redressed on priority. He stressed the teachers to work with dedication and honesty and give quality education to the students. Around 35 admissions were made on spot in different schools of the cluster. The ZEO Banihal also urged parents to admit their wards in government schools and take benefit of the schemes. Local representatives and other speakers also urged the parents to take advantage of the schemes launched by the government for their children by enrolling their children in government schools.
