DC Ramban interacts with members of Youth Clubs

RAMBAN, Nov 27: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today interacted with the youths of the district including the members of Youth Club here in his office to sensitize them about various youth oriented and self-employment schemes.
Chief Planning Officer, Dr. Kasturi Lal; AD Employment, Naresh Kumar; ALC, Angrej Singh; BDO, Ramban, Vishal Atri and several other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
The DC informed that the District Administration has registered nearly 3000 youth by formulating youth clubs at Panchayat level to provide them benefits of eight schemes under Mission Youth like Tejaswini, MUMKIN, Village Tourist Network, Dental Care and several benefits by constituting Self Help Group.
He highlighted the various Job oriented and other assistance schemes especially meant for the youth and people working in unorganized sectors. The DC asked the youth club members to register themselves under e- Shram Yojna and encouraged them to avail benefits of government schemes.
The DC said that the Government is providing a vibrant medium for engagement and empowerment of youth by launching various loan assistance schemes like PMEGP.
He advised the youth to come forward and avail the benefits of the self-employment schemes launched by the Government in this section by establishing self employment units to earn and live a life with dignity.
Highlighting the objective of forming Youth Clubs, he said the objective was to engage youth in progressive activities and make them equal partners in the development of the district.
