Kishtwar: Govt Polytechnic College hosts Fresher’s Day

KISHTWAR, Dec 22: Multifarious curricular activities marked the celebration of fresher's Day at Government Polytechnic College Kishtwar.
The event was hosted by the Students of 5th & 3rd Semester under the supervision of Principal & Staff members to welcome the Fresher and make them feel a part of the college family.
Senior students arranged many activities for the fresher, which included cultural events. Majority of the students got a chance to showcase their talents by presenting excellent performances on the stage.
The competitions like Ramp walk, Musical Chair, Tongue Twister, Singing Skit performances and questionnaires were the main attractions. Tania Ara student of Civil Engineering and Neeraj Kumar of Electrical Engineering were declared as the winners.
Principal H A Bhardwaj congratulated the winners and appreciated all faculty members & students who participated in the event to make it a great success.
He encouraged the fresher students to follow the vision of the Prime Minister by developing skills and making best use of the environment and facilities available on campus. Principal emphasized the students to work hard & must have domain knowledge, though the soft skills and participation in extracurricular activities which are equally important for personality development. Principal along with the senior Faculty of the college distributed prizes among the winners, runner ups and & Fresher 2021.
Engr. Raj Kumar Badyal, Ex-HoD of the institute was Special Invitee for this function. Engr Sanjay Gupta HoD, presented vote of thanks.
This program was coordinated by Engr. Arun Singh, Engr. Paramjot Singh, Engr. Dheeraj Prakash Shan, Engr. Yassir Iqbal, Engr. Sachin Kumar, Engr. Krishma Parihar, Engr. Vikas Sharma,Suman Sen, Engr. Haroon Waza, Engr. Syed Rubaiya, Engr Umara Naz and Miss Nowreen Anjum.
