Overactive Azad gives sleepless nights to Cong leadership
12/22/2021 11:36:13 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 22: Although Ghulam Nabi Azad has kept suspense over forming a new political party to contest assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, his over activeness in the Union Territory has added woes of “demoralized” Congress.
After attending the Deewali Milan function during the first week of November, Azad has been conducting a whirlwind tour of different areas of the J&K to mobilize his supporters.
During the last one month, Azad has been touring the erstwhile Doda district the second time which is a clear indication that he is trying to strengthen his home turf before taking any bigger political decision.
Although Azad has yet not opened his cards, he has given a very important statement while addressing a rally at Doda on Tuesday.
“You have seen governments of all political parties be it NC, PDP, BJP, or Congress but you are still facing hardship”, he told the gathering. This statement is significant as Azad has blamed all political parties for the woes of people.
As reported earlier, the incumbent Congress leadership headed by Ghulam Ahmed Mir is already worried after Azad received encouraging response during his tour in both the Jammu region and Kashmir Valley respectively.
Azad is not in a hurry to take any decision because his priority is to mobilize his supporters and to address as many as political meetings to give a message to the local and national leadership of the Congress.
Important to mention here that recently Azad has stated, “No one can say what will happen next in politics like no one knows when he will die.
In politics, no one can predict what will happen next, but I have no intention to form a party".
