TBS Bhaderwah Campus organizes webinar on 'Marketing of Agriculture Products'

BHADERWAH, Dec 29: TBS Bhaderwah Campus organized a webinar on 'Marketing of Agriculture Products'. The webinar begins with the welcome address by Professor Rahul Gupta Rector Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu and patron of the event. He welcomed the resource person, guests, faculty members, participants and the students of TBS, Bhaderwah campus in the webinar. In his brief address, Professor Gupta also congratulated the TBS faculty for their proactive approach and out-of-box thinking for providing practical exposure to the students.
The objective of the webinar was to equip the participants and management students with the mission 'Marketmirchi.com' which is an online platform for the sale and purchase of agriculture products nationally.
Pragati Gokhale, Chief Mentor Mission Mera Mobile Mera Marketing was the resource person of the webinar. She very lucidly explained that, how the mission is working hand in hand with top institutions and organizations like many IITs, NABARD, KVK, SRL, Tata Trust etc to create front end and backward linkages to provide best technology driven solutions to the basic grievances of Indian farmers.
Dr Sunil Bhardwaj, Head of Business School, Bhaderwah Campus elaborated on the relevance of the theme of the webinar and also briefed the participants about the growing relevance of online marketing platform for boosting the growth of agriculture sector in the country. The participants asked many question across the topics which are addressed by the resource person effectively.
At the end Mohammed Avais, Sr. Assistant Professor in the department presented a formal vote of thanks.
The webinar was attended by all the faculty members of The Business School including Dr Rohit Bhagat, Dr Umesh Chaudhary, Dr Meenakshi Nargotra, Dr Atif Javed Qazi, Dr Surekha Phakwrya, Amit, Aishiya Gupta and Sonia Sharma.
