Early Times Report

SUCHETGARH, Jan 2: The ouster of BJP from Suchetgarh Constituency has brought fortune and good omen for the people because earlier all the development projects were stalled or lingering due to indifference of saffron party leadership.
This was stated by DDC Member Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony after inaugurating blacktopping of a road at Village Bokri. He said that the aforesaid work has been started after the long gap of 25 years, courtesy to this apathy goes to no other but the BJP leadership which ruled the roost for so long but did nothing to provide succor to common masses. He said that Suchetgarh Constituency has seen the development on ground only after the end of the dark era of BJP rule and now the people are enjoying the real fruits of democracy with all the works of public interest going on smoothly and without any hassle.
The DDC member said that the people were craving for the construction of the aforesaid road stretch for a long time but the BJP leadership gave two hoots to the people’s aspiration.
He assured the people that the rule now has been changed and now the people are their own masters and whatever they will demand will be given to them readily and with no discrimination or dilution.
He assured that the work of the Block will be done on top priority and PWD’s functioning in Suchetgarh Block is without any iota of doubt is at No 1 in the whole of J&K as far as road connectivity programmes are concerned.
He asserted that the reason behind this feat is timely submission of projects. He said that this initiative has resulted into sanctioning of maximum projects to the constituency and it is now a matter of days when Suchetgarh will have state of art roads and connectivity best in the entire UT.
Tony expressed gratitude to the entire team of PWD starting from Junior Engineer to Commissioner Secretary for giving due priority to this border belt as earlier no one used to consider this area for development. Meanwhile, he has asked the Rural Development Director to visit Suchetgarh and sanction a good number of PM Awas Yojana cases in favour of Suchetgarh as it is the most backward Block and falls along the International Border.
Among others who were present include Capt Khair Singh, Panch Somnath, Sarpanch Akshay Kumar, Saprnach Binni Sharma, Sarpanch Sham Bhagat, Sarpanch Roshan Bhagat, Sarpanch Sashi Bhagtam Sarpanch Tilak Raj Bhagat, Rashpal Singh Gill, Youth leader Vikcy Chouhdary, Bawa Panch, Parveen Chib and BDC Chairman Tarsem Chib.
