| New entrants in BJP face piquant situation | | Peoples’ anger against Saffron Party puts them in tight spot | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 2: Although there is a race among politicians of different political parties to join BJP, brewing anger against the Saffron Party has added fear among new entrants into the party.
On the one hand, the old guard within BJP are not going to easily accept digest such tall political personalities in the party while on the other anger against the Saffron Party is increasing in Jammu province with every passing day.
Due to the anti-people decision of the incumbent regime, there is a silent wave of anger against BJP in J&K in general and Jammu province in particular.
Hoping that they will easily sail through electoral battle riding on the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a large number of prominent politicians of other political parties have joined BJP.
Now the situation is gradually changing in Jammu province especially during the last over one year due to the anti-people policies being pursued by the present regime.
Sources said that the growing anger of people against BJP is the result of the present government. Although local BJP leaders have no say in the decision-making of the present regime, there is a perception among the masses that Saffron Party is controlling the administration. And, the BJP is likely to bear brunt of such perception.
Recently, a senior BJP leader admitted that they don't have any say in the administration and all important decisions are taken by the Babus.
Now the new entrants in BJP have to fight on two fronts, one against old guards in the party and the second against peoples’ anger against the J&K government. |
