Members of LFO-BHF bag Pride of Young Hindustan National Award

Jammu, Jan 8: Social workers Ms. Stuti Sharma, Abhinandan Sharma, and Ganesh Singh from Jammu and Kashmir received the Pride of Young Hindustan Award 2022. They are active social workers and did tremendous work in Covid-19 and Lockdown period. S. Stuti Sharma & Mr. Abhinandan Sharma is from the Jammu region & are the President & General Secretary of LFO-BHF respectively, Ganesh Singh is from the Doda region and is the Advisor of LFO-BH.
As per the handout, they work for the welfare of society on various issues like including Volunteer Blood Donations drives, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Plantation drives, Menstrual hygiene, creating awareness for improvement of the status of women, free coaching classes to poor students, environmental awareness programs, etc. They all were active NSS VOLUNTEERs and have represented J&K at different national level camps as well as at state level camps.
In the pandemic time of COVID-19, they did an excellent humanitarian service for the welfare of society by volunteer work in the field.
Ganesh Singh said, “We have pledged! And taken responsibility to calm hearts and souls, protect the vulnerable, respond to the problems of the people, the families, the communities and institutions, and to quickly intervene in order to restrain the repercussion.”
Abhinandan says that he will continue his work for the welfare of society till his last breathe and try to work in all those sectors where society needs us.
While on having words with Stuti Sharma, She said "Every human contributes to the world in some way, whether through positive or negative actions. Social workers can contribute goodness and light, helping people see hope rather than despair. In turn, they can have hope for positive outcomes in their own lives". Now for their great contribution in the field of Social work, the Youngistan Foundation has also honored them with the Pride of Young Hindustan Award 2022 at Ulhasnagar, Mumbai.
