JAMMU, Jan 8: Department of Computer Science, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organizes “Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career opportunity” knowledgeable and exciting session on 08th January 2022 for CSE & Electrical Engineering Department students.
Entrepreneurship is the act of starting and running your own business or a tendency to be creative and wish to work for yourself in your ventures. . It’s about building a life on your terms. No bosses. No restricting schedules. And no one holds you back.
The session began with a welcome address by Er. Robin Kumar (HOD Computer Science Engineering Department). Er. Dinesh Gupta, President IIC Cell and Dean Academics YCET
Briefed about IIC Cell.
The Resource Person for the session was Dr. bhna Poddar –Dean corp. Relations, training & Professor Mgnt, IIC Innovation Ambassador, OSGU Hisar (Haryana). started the session with the Introduction of entrepreneurship. explained that Entrepreneurship is the ability and readiness to develop, organize and run a business enterprise, along with any of its uncertainties to make a profit. Further, she explained the importance of Entrepreneurship, as it can improve standards of living and create wealth, not only for the entrepreneurs but also for related businesses. Entrepreneurs also help drive change with innovation, where new and improved products enable new markets to be developed. The students were fortunate that they have got the chance to attend this session for increasing their knowledge and creative extravagance along with the expert. The guests remained highly commemorative of the efforts for organizing the session.
Prof. Dr. Anoop Kumar Srivastava(Director YCET) appreciated the efforts of the Computer science department. The session was coordinated by Er. Anamika and technical support were provided by Mr. Neeraj Kumar and a formal vote of thanks was presented by Er. Loveneesh Talwar (HOD Electrical Engineering Department).
