JAMMU, Jan 10: General Secretary, All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference (AJKPC) and Sarpanch Panchayat Gandli in R S Pura, Gurdeep Singh Saini has wholeheartedly welcomed the announcement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to observe 'Veer Baal Diwas' on December 26 from this year.
In a statement, Saini said that the Prime Minister has paid a befitting tribute to the sons of Guru Gobind Singh by making the aforesaid announcement. He said that the PM has rightly recognized the sacrifice of the brave and righteous sons of Guru Ji. He said that it is a matter of pride not only for the Sikh community but for all the Indians that both the sons with highest level of courage and determination attained martyrdom preferring death instead of deviating from the noble principles of Dharma.
