Rajouri, Jan 10: A Protest by common people took place at Atti near darhali bridge rajouri against the erratic power supply. The protesters said that for the last 4 to 5 days they have no power in this area and are forced to live in dark ages.
They further said that when they approached the department, the officials give various excuses instead of solving the problem.
The Students were also seen protesting against the authorities as they suffer badly due to unavailability of power. The students said that in the times of Covid, education is mainly through online platforms and this power availability becomes crucial. But due to unavailability of power, the education of students suffers badly and they are unable to take the online exams.
They further lambasted the administration and said that the administration has totally failed to provide power and water in rajouri and our area.
They appealed to administration and govt to give focus to the border district and solve their genuine issues. |
