Councilor Gurmeet kick starts developmental works | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 9: BJP leader and Councillor of Ward 69 of Sainik Colony, Gurmeet Kour Randhawa kick-started the development work worth Rs 35 lakhs in her ward. The work of thirty-five lakhs includes culverts and drains of Sector G, A and C of Sainik Colony. The business community approached me to resolve the water logging problem especially during the rainy season. The Jammu Municipal Corporation accepted the proposal for deep drain and culvert and released funds on priority. I advise the executives of Sports and Youth Deptt to take a holistic view of the work inside and around the stadium." said the Councillor. She assured the residents that works of the improvement of the colony are taken with various deptts. During the first half of the financial year, the works of drains, roads, beautification of parks, tiling, culvert etc have been executed in the ward. Rajesh Choudhary highlighted the problem faced by the shopkeepers and thanked councillor Gurmeet Kour Randhawa and the Jammu Municipal Corporation. Business community also highlighted the changing face of India under BJP and PM Modi. Ashwani Bhatti, a prominent resident of the Ward while speaking on the occasion highlighted that Councillor have left no stone unturned to ensure better amenities for the residents of the Colony. Others present during the occasion were Bhagwan Dass, Rajeshwar Singh, Rashpal Sharma, Saroj Manhas, Alkesh and Satpal Choudhary. |
