Jats, Sikhs up against BJP's ploy to hoodwink communities: Tony
2/9/2022 10:36:21 PM
Early Times Report
SUCHETGARH, Feb 9: DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony in a blistering attack against BJP asserted that the saffron party will have to pay a heavy price for the conspiracy which it has knitted against the Jats and Sikhs through Delimitation ploy.
Addressing a meeting of Sikhs and Jats here, the DDC Member said if BJP will not revisit its decision to hoodwink aforesaid communities in Suchetgarh, the entire population will boycott the party in all the ensuing elections including that of UT Assembly. He warned the BJP leadership that if the decision of political murder of Sikhs and Jats will not be taken back, the history will be made with Saffron party facing the worst ever debacle in J&K as people will boycott the party across the length and breadth of the UT of J&K.
Tony said that the BJP has been exposed fully for reshaping constituencies in 'connivance' with Delimitation Commission to suit the requirement of its proposed candidates. He said that the people have understood BJP's ill-conceived intentions behind such maneuvering by getting hand in glove with the Delimitation Commission and therefore they will teach the treacherous party a lesson of life in the upcoming elections.
The DDC member said that today the situation on ground is that all the communities are up in arms against the hypocrite BJP as all are feeling cheated at the hands of BJP's Delimitation Draft. If the Delimitation Commission claims to be honest and judicious, they should come before the public and justify how the constituencies have been created against the wishes of the people, who are the real stakeholders.
Later, the meeting decided to stage a massive protest against the illogical shaping of the constituencies by the Delimitation Commission on the behest of BJP.
