Online campus placement drive held at YCET

JAMMU, Feb 9: Campus Placement Drive was held at Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET), Jammu as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, which deals in developing an academia-industry interface for the students of YCET and Institute of Management Sciences (IMS). YCET organized the campus recruitment drive for the world-renowned company BYJU'S Pvt. Ltd today for all the Final Year B.E. students of YCET and Final Year MBA students of IMS. The job profile offered by the company was Academic Specialist.
A total of 47 students from both colleges were shortlisted in the event. At the end of the grueling selection process, which included aptitude tests, group discussions and personal interviews, 04 students namely Iram shafi, Riya Bhat, Vishab Bhardwaj and Sarthak Sharma were shortlisted for the final round of placement drive. In the final round, Riya Bhat is selected at an annual package of Rs 6 lakhs.
The program was conducted by the Placement Cell of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. Many officials from the company and Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology were involved to properly drive the placement process. Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology and IMS are leading the effort to give the final year graduating and postgraduate students of Jammu a chance to have a first-hand experience of placement drives. Our career counseling programs which are also a part of our College's Social Responsibility lay special emphasis on empowering these students by imparting industry-ready skills, which enables them to get good placements in the on-campus drives.
Shilpa Mukherjee from Recruitment Team of BYJU'S PVT. LTD hailed the efforts put by the college in nurturing and exploring the young minds for a better tomorrow.
Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), Jammu Chairman Er.Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director Er. Renu Bangroo congratulated the selected student. The placement drive was conducted by Er. Dinesh Gupta, Head Training and Placement Cell, of YCET.
