Speaking to Early Times, Martyr Chuni Lal daughter Arti Devi said that government should not abandon the families of martyrs added that they are jobless and government should provide the job to them instead of playing politics on the martyrs.
“Let’s not abandon us by the (Govt)— instead all the family members of every martyr should be taken care of properly” said Arti Devi.
It is pertinent to mention that Naib Subhedar Chuni Lal had received three awards in army- first Sena Medal in January 1988 for taking part in operation “Meghdoot” in capturing famous Bana post located at 21153 feet in Siachen glacier for the Act of gallantry.
